Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Open the app and tap “Create Account”. You can sign up with your email or use Google Sign-In for quick access.
Can I use the app without an account?
Yes! You can use “Guest Mode” to explore the app and access most features. However, creating an account allows you to save progress, compete on leaderboards, and sync across devices.
How does the text-to-speech feature work?
Tap the speaker icon next to any Italian word or phrase to hear its pronunciation. This helps you learn proper Italian pronunciation.
Why can’t I access some lessons?
Lessons are unlocked progressively. You need to complete the previous lesson to unlock the next one. This ensures you build a strong foundation.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password” and enter your email. You’ll receive a password reset link.
Is the app free?
Yes! Shikhun Italian is completely free to use with no hidden costs or in-app purchases.
How does the leaderboard work?
The leaderboard shows your ranking based on XP (experience points) earned from completing lessons and quizzes. Rankings reset weekly, and there’s also an all-time leaderboard.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data.
